今、その物語を語ろう・・・

それはイヴァリースと呼ばれる世界の物語。

バレンティア大陸を支配する強大な
軍事国家であるアルケイディア帝国は、
オーダリア大陸を支配するロザリア帝国と
長年にわたって戦争を続けていた。

そんな中、アルケイディア帝国は両大陸との回廊に位置する
地勢学的にきわめて重要な小国、ダルマスカ王国に侵攻する。

アルケイディア帝国の侵略に屈したダルマスカ王国の
正統な王位継承者アーシェは
帝国に抵抗運動を続けるレジスタンス（解放軍）に参加する。

祖国解放を胸に戦う彼女に敵の追撃は厳しく、
しかし、くじけることもできなかった。
そんな時、一人の少年ヴァンと出会う。
彼との出会いで、しだいにアーシェの心には変化が生まれ始めた。

そして……

二人の出会いがこの世界の物語を大きく変えてゆく。

It is the story of a world called Ivalice.

The military state of the Empire of Arcadia
Spreading its grip across the continent of Valendia,
For many long years battled against the Empire of Rosaria
Which spanned the Ordalia continent.

During that time, the Empire of Arcadia invaded the Kingdom of Dalmaska
A small country in a geographically important position between the two continents.

Ashe, the legitimate heir to the throne of the Kingdom of Dalmaska
Who had yielded to the invading Arcadia Empire
Joined with the resistance against the empire.

She relentlessly pursued her enemy, fighting with the ideal of freeing her fatherland within her heart,
But she was unable to crush them.
At that time, she met a young man named Vaan.
After meeting him, Ashe's heart slowly began to change.

And thus......

The meeting of the two had a great impact on the story of this world.

* Started out as a game for PlayOnline.
* It was supposed to take half a year to make.
* Ashe was modeled after a French woman, but was given some Japanese features to make her more appealing to the Japanese audience and to make the CG expressions less difficult.
* Originally, Vaan was more rugged, but they made him more effeminate to fit the role of his character.
* Unable to verify if the PlayStation 2 (Early Logo) is official.
