Comments: In the FOMA version, the Prologue appears only after you choose NEW GAME and pick the names of the characters.  Also, the opening video that was added to the PSX version is not in the FOMA version.

Comments: When buying weapons/armor there are arrows indicating whether or not the armor/weapon is an improvement and you get to choose the quantity when buying from shops in the FOMA version.  Prices in stores and inns are the same as the GBA version.

Comment: In the FOMA version, the Overworld resembles the NES/MSX2 while the battles resemble the WSC/PSX.  The music is slightly better than the NES version but not as good as the WSC.

Comments: All the new scenes that were added to the WSC/PSX version are not in the FOMA version.  Also, the water fountain lacks animation in the FOMA version.  Paul does not look like the GBA version.

Comment: The ability to run in dungeons and towns, that was added to the WSC/PSX version, can only be set to always run or never run in the FOMA version.  Just like the GBA version, there is only one Blood Sword in the game.

Comments: In the FOMA version, the attacks on dead enemies are directed towards enemies that are still alive, unlike the NES version.  Also, the backgrounds in the FOMA version look almost like the WSC/PSX version, yet they are not as detailed.

Comments: In the FOMA version , the most individual items you can hold is 188 and you can hold a maximum of 99 of each individual item.  Everything in the item menu has an icon in the FOMA release.

***Comment: In the FOMA version your name can have up to 12 letters.  The FOMA version has 3 save slots and you can save anywhere like the GBA release, plus it has a memo save, which deletes itself once it's used.

Comment: Portraits that appear when talking in the GBA version are not in this version.  The game uses Kanji, unlike the FC/WSC version.  Flying in the airship resembles the NES/WSC version.  The chocobo moves really fast, making him difficult to catch.

Comment: The credits section of the ending is different than all the other releases.  Soul of Rebirth was not added.  There are no battles on bridges.  Hitting the talk button doesn't bring up a window when nothing is in front of you like the NES version.
